Hi there!
My name is Rita and my priority is you! Seeking therapy is already such a huge step and I’m so glad you’re here. My goal is to create a nonjudgemental space where you can authentically be yourself and feel heard and seen.
My Story
I am a counselor-in-training graduate student at UHV-Katy. I studied at Texas Tech University for my undergraduate degree and received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in three years. I also minored in Ceramics, so art and being creative is a strong suit of mine. Once graduated, I will be a registered Marriage & Family Therapist and earn my license in professional counseling.
I have worked with children in many different settings and am extremely passionate about helping little ones. I am interested in working with children, adolescents, and their families. My biggest goal for your child is to give them a safe, comfortable, and healing space where they feel accepted. Focusing on building a strong and supportive connection is vital in the therapy process and your child’s needs are my top priority. I firmly believe working together as a unit will implement growth and healthy functioning.
