Hi there!
I'm Wen and I'm glad that you're here. Life can be overwhelming and challenging. It is hard to take the first step to seek help and make changes. Seeing a therapist can be vulnerable. My goal is to provide a safe, warm, and non-judgmental place for you and your children. Send me an email or give me a call to get ideas on how we can work it out together.
My Story
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas as well as a Registered Play Therapist. I received my M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University. I am also certified in AutPlay Therapy. I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, and their families. I specialize in working with special needs children, anxiety, and ADHD. I firmly believe that building relationships and being connected are the main priorities in counseling relationships.

As a play therapist, I'm here to create a safe, supportive, and empathetic space for your child and family. I believe that every child is unique and has their own strengths. My approach is mainly Person-Centered and Child-Centered Play Therapy which will provide you with methods to solve problems by utilizing your strengths. I also include different strategies to meet client's needs, such as mindfulness and cognitive behavioral strategies.
I am a native of Taiwan. I came to the US in 2017 to pursue my master's degree in counseling program at SHSU. I have the ability to conduct therapy in Mandarin, Taiwanese, and English. I enjoy working with Asian populations and help families explore their strengths to better cope with life struggles.
